Toronto 2027 Registration

Interest in the Speed Puzzle World Series has grown enormously since our first event, and we anticipate demand for Toronto 2027 to be significantly higher than the number of competition places available - particularly for individuals where there will be half the number of competitors compared to pairs and teams.

We know that many puzzlers will be making international travel plans and will want certainty about whether they can compete. Our registration system has therefore been designed to make access simple and fair, while ensuring the Individual Championship brings together an exceptional international field.

Registration for the 2027 Speed Puzzle World Series will take place in scheduled releases.

Registration Pricing

Registration is CAD $275 per championship (including all taxes and fees).

• Pairs Championship - Wednesday 2 June 2027

• Teams Championship - Thursday 3 June 2027

• Individual Championship - Friday 4 and Saturday 5 June 2027

Individual Championship Registration

If registration requests exceed the number of available places:

• SPWS will allocate a limited number of priority places to support the competitive field and event requirements.

• The remaining places in the first release will be allocated by random ballot.

• Everyone who submits a registration request will be included in the allocation process.

• Registration requests are not first come, first served. Submitting your request earlier will not increase your chances of receiving a place.

• Requests not offered a place in the first release will remain in the pool for any subsequent release.

If requests do not exceed capacity, all eligible request holders will be offered the opportunity to purchase a ticket. Any remaining places may then be released for general sale.

Submitting a registration request does not require payment and does not guarantee a place.

First Ticket Offer for Individual Championship

The first ticket offer for successful registrants will be emailed on Thursday 22 October 2026.

Recipients will have four days to purchase their Individual registration. They will also receive early access to available Pairs and Teams registrations during this window.

Any Individual places not purchased within the first offer period will return to the registration pool and may be offered in another ballot.

Pairs and Teams Registration

Registration requests are not required for the Pairs or Teams Championships.

Anyone invited to the first individual registration window may purchase a Pairs or Teams registration for their group. Their partner or teammates do not need to have applied for, or be competing in, the Individual Championship.

All remaining Pairs and Teams registrations will go on general public sale on Monday 26 October 2026.
